Do we really care?
We get paranoid if someone is too close when we’re typing in our pin at the atm machine. At the same time, we’ll happily give our name, address, dob, email, contact number to the next site that asks you to sign in. Are we really that bothered or is it because “social norms” have made us comfortable with with one form of invasive probing over another.
